



All service provision is tailored to the individual needs of the service user, and is aimed at caring for and supporting people within their own homes.
Support workers will be providing support and assistance to people with a range of disabilities / conditions, helping them to maximise their own potential and independence.
The needs of the service user lie at the heart of Starcare Ltd’s provision of care. Service users are kept informed, encouraged and enabled to make choices concerning their care, and to participate in the decision and care process, thereby maintaining their independence.
Service Provision Starcare Ltd and its employees acknowledge the unique and complex needs of individuals, and the additional specific knowledge, and skills required in order to deliver a service that is tailored to the needs of each person. Providing personal care to the wide range of people who need care and support whilst living in their own home, including:
- older people
- people with physical disabilities
- people with sensory loss including dual sensory impairment
- people with mental health problems
- people with learning disabilities
- personal or family carers
Support workers may be directly providing the care themselves but they are more likely to be providing the care jointly with the person needing assistance, encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves in order to maintain their independence and physical ability. Support workers provide support and assistance to people with a range of disabilities, helping them to maximise their own potential and independence.
The services are managed and provided at all times in a way that ensures that we meet the individual needs of the service user receiving care, as specified in their service plan, Starcare Ltd and its staff respect the rights, privacy and dignity of service users as an individual.
