Starcare Ltd caters to the personal care needs elderly people and people with disabilities in their homes and also assists with essential daily living task from shopping and cleaning to washing etc. Typically, a support worker may have a group of service users to visit every day. Each service user may have a number of visits (Morning, Lunch time, Evening, Bed time etc.) depending on their assessed needs and dependency levels. The support worker will assist the service users to get up and prepare for the day; the support worker may prepare meals and undertake other domestic duties. Sometimes, shopping on behalf of the service user is also undertaken.
Service users, their relatives and or representatives will know that Starcare Ltd are providing the personal care service with the skills and competence required to meet their individual care needs.
All of Starcare Ltd’s staff are reliable and dependable, are able to respond flexibly to the needs and preferences of service users which arise on a day to day basis and services are provided in a way that meets the outcomes identified in the service plan.
Staff will arrive at the service users home within the time specified and provide services outlined in the service plan for the full amount of time allocated, where it is found that the time allocated is inadequate or exceeds the amount required, Starcare Ltd will communicate with the relevant personnel to adapt the service plan to meet the requirements.
