  • Experience– All Vivup telephone counsellors are post 3 years qualification British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), UK Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP), British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP
  • Continuity – All telephone counselling sessions are with the same counsellor. Clinical continuity directly influences recovery outcome
  • Structure –Vivup Telephone Counsellors uses structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and work to a solution-focussed approach
  • Calls – once you call into the service you will be asked a few simple questions i.e., name and date of birth and you will then be triage through to a counsellor – we aim to get you an appt within 5 working days
  • Managers – please use the service for help with difficult situations or to support a colleague (with consent the telephone can be passed across)
  • No exclusion criteria so if you are awaiting an appointment from another service, you can call vivup and get support while you wait.
