Care & Compassion, Trust, and Service are our three core values which form both our promise and our high level of quality.
WHAT CQC STANDARDS SAY
Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards take a targeted, responsive and collaborative approach to regulation so more people receive high-quality care. Our three core values form who we are, but also keep in line with CQC standards to ensure your care meets the requirements set by law.
Keeping in line with CQC standards, our Service value is dedicated to ensuring we always recruit and train support workers who want to go the extra mile for clients. Our Service value also supports CQC’s Management, Safety, and Respect standards which have been introduced to protect those in need of care from any avoidable harm.
Informed decisions are made upon assigning the appropriate carers with the right skills, knowledge and experience to each of our clients.
Our policies ensure that we work effectively together to protect all of the people we provide care and support for.
Listen first. Speak second. This is our open policy when raising concerns. Each care plan is carefully monitored to deliver the most effective outcome.
HOW WE MATCH CQC STANDARDS IN TRUST
Being open and transparent, and by ensuring a focus on a client’s sense of responsibility and independence, let’s the client have the authority to make decisions and trusts Starcare to oversee this. This aligns with CQC’s Person-Centred, Dignity & Respect, and Integrity standards and provides individualistic care for each client.
Our clients receive day-to-day interaction from our carers who build a relationship and effectively deliver health and wellbeing to each individual client.
Dignity & Respect
We give all clients the right amount of time to develop trust in our relationships and openly encourage clients to express their views.
Our carers integrity is paramount. Their empathy towards those who are in pain, discomfort and/or emotional distress is what makes them so effective.
HOW WE MATCH CQC STANDARDS IN CARE & COMPASSION
Our Care & Compassion value is underpinned by CQC’s Assurance, Sensitivity, and Safeguarding standards. Our clients receive their care, treatment and support in a written plan that sets out exactly what staff need to do to ensure that our clients receive personalised care. Every day, we provide homecare plans with kindness and empathy, exceeding our clients and their families’ expectations.
Richmond Training allows our carers to combine practical work with theoretical knowledge in safety systems, processes and practices to receive nationally recognised qualifications.
Our staff’s passion for care is enhanced by their will to respond to clients with organisation, management and sensitivity. They’re kind, compassionate and trustworthy.
Upon applying to Starcare, staff are questioned about previous experience. We then walk them through our training process, outlining how to provide the highest level of care.
